DTD
"This life is mine alone. So I have stopped asking people for directions to places they've never been." Glennon Doyle
Being directionally challenged is not something I would wish on anyone. I recently learned that this is so common that scientists are studying it and have named it developmental topographical disorientation (DTD). I cannot tell you how many times I have had to make a U-turn on my journey because I tried to find something on my own instead of being guided by The General. Yes, he is rough and gruff but he gets me where I need to go, thus he is a constant companion as I drive the Angelmobile. I know I can rely on him and I don’t get criticism or questions about why I want to go where I am headed. Life, on the other hand, is not so simple in this regard when it comes to getting direction. Sometimes, I meet with those I have developed a relationship with who hold similar beliefs and values. It is a tight circle and I am aware of who spirit is having me consult with to help me brainstorm and tap into the guidance needed. Other times I put the question on a back burner and wait for Divine timing and the angels to reveal the answer. There are times when I utilize the tools I have gathered over the years as I have experiences or as I delve into further training. Always, though, I use my inner guidance system (IGS), aka “little T.” We all have the ability to tap into our inner guidance. Meditation is the quickest way to get there but there are other means as well. I use the “sway” test or muscle testing a lot, both of which yield fast answers.
Dear Angels, navigating this human experience is no easy task and figuring out the tools that will keep us on track can be confusing at times. How can we stay on course without stressing?
Dear Ones, you do not come into your human body with the knowledge of where east, west, north and south are. It is something learned. Be gentle with yourself if you have difficulty with this and know it can be learned with the right instructions. However, you do come into your incarnation with the inner knowledge of all your experiences in every lifetime you have lived and the ability to tap into that information. Knowing this makes it less stressful on you because you know you have not been sent forth without roadmaps to follow for your tasks you came here to accomplish. When you decide to open up and ask directions, you are turning on your IGS. From there, it is a matter of intuitively plugging in your destination and then enjoy the journey.
Dear Angels, thank you. I appreciate the General even more now! I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to listen to what others say but always seek my own truth.
