A GRAND GAME

I have held several conversations today about numerous topics, yet there was one theme that ran through each one of them – presence. It is true that whatever we focus on expands and takes up our energy. While we are in the midst of dealing with the latest happening in our world, we tend to forget that we have choices in where we place our focus and thus our energy. The quote, “where attention goes, energy flows” is a good one to bring to remembrance each day. In this hustle-bustle world, most of us have several fires burning at the same time and it is hard to decide which one to put out first. In a meditation earlier tonight, Spirit asked me the question “What is monumental in your life to focus on?” I was then shown that what my world looks like is based on the answer to that question. If I am constantly focused on the chaos, drama, and the spin of polarity, then I most certainly will see more of that as I go through each now moment. If, however, I choose peace and harmony as the most important thing to me, it will make no difference what others are doing because the peace shows up on the inside first and my perspective will reflect this to the “outside” world. The secret of it all unfolds itself quietly in our journey, reminding us of a deeper truth about presence — that to truly live is to engage fully with the present moment, with a spirit of play rather than obligation.
Dear Angels, you often remind us that we take life too seriously and we should lighten up. So many times as humans we feel bad having fun when we just lost a loved one or when a tragedy strikes in our world. This kind of survivor guilt makes it more difficult to embrace joy.
Dear Ones, use your imagination to transform your view of daily tasks from heaviness to play. What would that look like? It means waking each morning not with a sense of burden, but with anticipation for the day's possibilities. It means seeing challenges as puzzles crafted specifically for you, awaiting your eager hands and hearts to solve. It means conversations are not mere exchanges of words, but are vibrant dances of voice and emotion. When you engage completely with what you are doing here and now, you anchor yourselves in the present moment. This engagement does not mean you lose sight of your past lessons or future hopes; rather, it allows you to live fully, with every fiber of your being tuned to the life that throbs within and around you. Play is spontaneous, joyous, creative. It is an act of celebrating the now, an embrace of the wonder that surrounds you. It liberates you from the heavy chains of routine and opens you up to the divine joy that is your birthright.
Angels Whisper: as you move through your day, we invite you to shift your perspective. Look at your tasks, your interactions, even your challenges, as parts of a grand game that you are fortunate enough to play. Laugh more, worry less. Dance a little as you move from moment to moment. Remember that in the divine eyes of the universe, every moment is an invitation to play. And then play with open hearts, sing with vibrant souls, and live with the unbounded joy that comes from knowing life itself is a beautiful, divine play.
Today, I promise I will play and dance and embrace the beauty of each divine moment.
