Acceptance

"My most fundamental hope is for a worldwide attitude of tolerance, which will only come through education and an awareness of other cultures and religions. The more people are exposed to other philosophies and thoughts, the more possible it becomes to resolve world conflicts peacefully. Education builds tolerance for other points of view." ~ John Hendricks

There comes a time when we have to say enough is enough, when we have to become accountable for our actions and our attitudes. If we are condemning in our attitude, we certainly are not showing unconditional love. Yes, there are “wrongs” in the world and many atrocities. As far as I am aware, nobody made me a judge and I believe that goes for all of us. It’s not our job. Our only function is to love. When I say that I sometimes get the scoffs and attitude of “no way I can love that person.” Well, guess what – that person is a reflection of you – the observer! The reason we cannot offer love to everyone in an unconditional way is that we have placed conditions on ourselves, thus our attitude towards giving love is fraught with demands.

Dear Angels, the separation mentality is what keeps drama and trauma alive on our planet. When we judge, we are placing ourselves above others. If only we could all hit the pause button and realize that we are all One having different experiences for the soul growth of all. When we try to isolate one thing or person as “different” we have already deviated from the knowingness of the Oneness.

Dear Ones, we do understand that “Oneness of all that is” indeed is a hard concept for many. You look in the mirror and you do not look like the person sitting across the room from you. You listen to others express their opinions and ideas and form your opinion that it is not your belief. Only when you come to terms and accept the Oneness will you stop criticizing and judging others. It does have to come in that order, Dear Ones. The acceptance will allow you to see that what you are doing does not make sense when you isolate others and think that they could not possibly be included in the Oneness. Without acceptance, you will never get into alignment with your true spirit being. This is an age-old struggle and if you find yourself exhausted from trying to understand it, please be gentle with yourself. We encourage you to try opening a bit at a time. See who you would include in the Oneness from those in your circle. Feel that loving and acceptance of all that makes up those beings. This part may even be difficult for you as there may be a part of you that still has not learned to love unconditionally. Baby steps is your best friend. Now, expand the circle out to others that maybe you don’t have much interaction with but perhaps have neutral feeling about. Let yourself integrate them into the Oneness. Keep going with the inclusivity. When you come to someone that you feel you just cannot accept into the Oneness, go inside. Where are buttons pushed? Where do you hold a passionate feeling toward that person or persons that is judgmental? It is not easy to do this work as it is your own inner work, dealing with the shadow self and exploring belief patterns and seeing that it is only you, no one is outside of you; thus, to shut out those who are different in your beliefs is to be stuck in the duality or separation mentality. We encourage you to take your time and give this some deep thought. Ask for guidance with it, perhaps a mentor or your spirit guide. When you can reach that acceptance of all beings and stop excluding, only then will you be filled with the energy of peace and unconditional love which you seek.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to let go of judgments as I am only judging myself.
