CLIMBING THE RIGHT LADDER

Stairway leading upward into dense, billowing clouds under a dramatic sky. The scene evokes a sense of mystery and tranquility.

“It’s better to be at the bottom of a ladder you want to climb than halfway up one you don’t.” —Ricky Gervais

We are often taught that progress, no matter where, is a sign of success. Society celebrates the climbers, the go-getters, those who relentlessly pursue goals, even if those goals were never truly their own. But what about the quiet courage it takes to step down, to admit, "This is not where I am meant to be"? What about the bravery required to start over at the bottom, staring up at a ladder that may seem daunting but is aligned with our heart's deepest longing? I’ve started over many times in my lifetime. There have been disappointments and loss that took me down a different path and away from my comfort zone but each one was necessary to travel back to where I needed to be – on that road back to my true calling.

Dear Angels, life often presents us with ladders—pathways to growth, success, and fulfillment. Yet, not all ladders lead to where our souls truly wish to go. We sometimes find ourselves halfway up a ladder only to realize it is leaning against a wall that does not resonate with our spirit. It is in these moments that the truth becomes clear. It is far better to be at the bottom of a ladder we want to climb than halfway up one that feels empty and unfulfilling.

Dear Ones, every step you take on the right ladder in your life is infused with purpose, each rung a sacred lesson, each climb a spiritual awakening. When you are on the right ladder, there is a sense of divine alignment. Even if progress seems slow, there is joy in the journey. There is a peace that surpasses understanding, a knowing that every effort is meaningful. The challenges you face become part of your sacred story, each obstacle a stepping stone that strengthens your spirit. If you find yourself halfway up a ladder that feels wrong, know that it is never too late to choose differently. Take a breath, call upon your guides, and ask for direction. Trust that the courage to start over will be met with divine support. The bottom of the right ladder is not a setback—it is a sacred space where your true path begins. It is a place of potential, of dreams yet to be realized. It is where true beginnings happen. There is no such thing as failure. Every path is not for everyone. Find yours, Beloveds. Find peace.

Angels Whisper: honor where you are. Whether you are climbing confidently or finding the courage to start anew, trust that every step, every choice, is leading you closer to the fulfillment of your divine purpose. You are loved, you are guided, and your journey is blessed. Keep climbing, but make sure your ladder is leaning on love, truth, and the calling of your soul.

Today, I promise to observe the path I am on and make any course corrections necessary.
