Direction

“Whether I am a small or big wave of being, the same Ocean of Life is behind me.” Paramahansa Yogananda

I came across this poem that I wrote some time ago called Direction:

Where are we going, I asked

And got no reply

Other than a book falling off a shelf

Opening to these words:

Where do we go when we let go

When control is not the objective

When peace and love are paramount

When living becomes more sacred than existing

When self-love is fueled by respect

When surrendering to the moment happens

Then, Seeker, you have found your direction.

Dear Angels, why is it so hard to let go? I remember channeling the words written above. I was at a place of seeking deeper meaning of this thing called life. In meditation, I had let go of everything and bared my soul as I wanted nothing more than to be submerged into the Oneness like a wave flowing back into the ocean, a desire to leave the human experience of thought and form as I knew it and enter into the great void.

Dear Ones, you cannot consciously look for the void experience because any looking or expectations you might have are formed from a life experience which has no conception of the void. It can only come when you’ve let go of everything. As you enter into your meditation experience, focus solely on releasing any thought or feeling other than what is in the moment – your breath coming and going just as the waves of the ocean. You cannot force this experience. You have to just let it happen. In your human experience, you are constantly striving for control. To go beyond this experience, it is necessary to lose any attachment to the outcome and just be. When sensations arise, go back to the breath. When thoughts arise, go back to the breath. There is no way to put words to the experience of letting go to the point of entering the void. It will come unexpectedly and the breath will be the raft that gently guides you there. We encourage you, Dear Ones, to allow yourself to experience this deeper state as a means of putting into perspective what you call life and all it entails, knowing that it is simply a temporary brief part of the vast continuum in which all things are interconnected, timeless, and immaculate. Stop complicating everything and taking it all so seriously. Just let go of the need to be in control of the way you see reality and allow that there are different views when you stop thinking in concrete terms. This is when you will find your direction.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to let go and surrender the need to control my life experience.
