DIVINE STORYTELLERS

“If you’re too rigid in your thinking you may miss some wonderful opportunities for storytelling.”

— Vince Gilligan

I love listening to a good storyteller. And aren’t we are all storytellers—weaving narratives through our experiences, our dreams, and the quiet whispers of our souls. Yet, there’s a subtle trap that can dim the vibrancy of our tales - rigidity. When we cling too tightly to a fixed way of thinking, we risk closing ourselves off to the unexpected, the divine, and the beautifully unpredictable opportunities that await us. Imagine a tree in a storm. If its branches are too stiff, they snap under the pressure of the wind. But if they bend, swaying with the gusts, they endure—and even dance. Our minds, like those branches, thrive when they remain pliable. In the realm of storytelling, this flexibility becomes a sacred gift, opening doors to inspiration we might otherwise overlook.

Dear Angels, the spiritual journey is not a straight line etched in stone; it’s a winding river, carving new paths through the landscape of our lives. When we release our need for control—our insistence on knowing exactly how the story should unfold—we allow something greater to guide us. Call it intuition, grace, or the hand of the universe; it’s the force that nudges us toward moments of wonder we couldn’t have scripted on our own. I am so grateful for the nudges you give us. It has created many powerful stories of inspiration and hope as we live out our lives.

Dear Ones, think of the stories that have moved you most deeply. Perhaps it’s the tale of a stranger’s kindness that caught you off guard, or a dream that lingered in your heart long after waking. These are the threads of life that emerge when you let go of rigid expectations. They remind you that the Divine often speaks in whispers, not commands, and that the best narratives are co-created with the world around you. Rigidity can masquerade as strength, but true strength lies in adaptability. When you soften your grip on “how things should be,” you make space for the miraculous. A chance encounter becomes a chapter. A fleeting thought transforms into poetry. A detour reveals a truth you didn’t know you needed. Storytelling, at its core, is an act of trust—trust in the process, in the mystery, and in the possibility that something beautiful is waiting just beyond your current understanding.

Angels Whisper: let your spirit be supple. Let your mind bend like the willow, open to the winds of inspiration. If you’re too rigid in your thinking, you may miss the quiet invitations to tell a story that could heal, uplift, or awaken—not just others, but yourself. The world is brimming with untold tales, and they’re waiting for you to listen, to feel, and to share. Embrace the unknown, and watch how your story unfolds in ways more wondrous than you ever imagined.

Today, I promise to be open to all the stories that appear in my life and share them from my heart.
