Don't Blink

“Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans.” ― Allen Saunders

Did you ever have one of those don't blink moments? Maybe you were in the right place but you turned your head or closed your eyes – or looked at your phone – and something really amazing happened, and you missed it. Yep, been there done that! But I have also been at the right place at the right time to witness miracles happening right in front of my eyes. Those are the precious moments that no one can take from you. Those are the things you file away and pull up over and over again to go into the awe of life. I was told about the “green flash” that happens when the sun dips below the horizon in Hawaii. I didn’t dare blink because I wanted to see it so very badly and yes I was able to observe that phenomenon. Sometimes I do what is called a reverse bucket list. I look back over my life and bring up the memories of things I have done – some so amazing that I can’t even believe I did them. One of those was a hot air balloon ride. I’m not sure how I mustered up the nerve to actually go through with it. It was a present, and a very expensive one, so I’m sure that was part of it. Trust me, I did not dare blink because it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. When we have these moments of awe and inspiration, we feel in alignment with the universe, but we don’t have to go up in a hot air balloon or stand on the beach in Hawaii exactly at sunset to have a connecting awe moment with spirit. When we are in alignment, we are in alignment and we intuitively know not to blink.

Dear Angels, the mountaintop experiences of life show us our connection with a higher being. We cannot all go to the top or stay there very long, however. How can we stay in that vibration as we live our daily lives in this human existence?

Dear Ones, there is an interesting connection with focusing attention and experiencing what you call the mountaintop experiences of life. It is very true that what you focus on expands. This has been shown time and again when you hear a certain word or color, and then all of a sudden it appears everywhere. Teri and ShaRon experienced this recently with red cars and clothing. The more you play with directing your attention, the more you come to understand that you can call whatever you want to you in life, yes even those mountaintop moments where you will not be able to blink because you are programming that picture into your mind. If it is true that at any given moment you can call in what you desire, then why are you not doing so on a more regular basis? We invite you to try this experiment for today. Pick a word and say it out loud. Now watch how many times that word appears over the course of the day where you will hear it or see it. Don’t go looking for it and try to force it to happen, just let your subconscious mind match you up with it. Stay in this playful vibration, be open to receive, and those awe moments will show up more and more for you.

Dear Angels, I’m thinking of my word now. I’ll let you know how it goes! Thank you! I love you. Namaste y’all.
