ETERNAL CONNECTION OF LOVE

flower

“When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.”   – Tecumseh

My friend Norman said his final goodbye to his dear cousin, Tom, today. It was expected, not that it made the event any less painful to those left behind. We find ourselves reflecting on those who have journeyed before us. It’s in these reflective times that we realize a profound truth: our dead are never dead to us. They continue to exist, not just as memories or in the recesses of our minds, but as vibrant, living presences that guide and comfort us. The whole concept of death and the possibilities of what comes after have always intrigued us. The idea of death and the unknown afterlife has also brought about a sense of wanting to document oneself and to be remembered for some little achievement or work that will live on after them. In our moments of grief and longing, we may feel a deep sense of loss. Yet, it is within these moments that we are reminded of the depth of our connection. The ache we feel is but a testament to the love we have shared. It is a love that continues to live on, manifesting in ways both subtle and profound.

Dear Angels, letting go of our loved ones when they transition from their human bodies is one of the most difficult things we experience. While we have the understanding that all of us will experience this, many still struggle with the absence of those we are close to.

Dear Ones, in moments of stillness, you may feel your loved one’s presence, like a whisper in the wind or a warmth that envelops your heart. You might catch a familiar scent, hear a song that resonates with a shared memory, or feel a soft touch on your shoulder. These are not mere coincidences; they are gentle reminders that your loved ones are near, watching over you, and guiding you through life’s journey. The veil between the physical world and the spiritual realm is thin, much thinner than you often realize. Those who have passed on may no longer be with you in a physical sense, but their energy, love, and wisdom remain. Love is the bridge that connects you to the other side. This love is eternal, transcending time and space, unbroken by physical separation. When you speak to your departed loved ones, they hear you. When you think of them, they feel it. Your love for them and their love for you creates a bond that is everlasting and unbreakable. They are a part of you, living on in your hearts, in the very air you breathe. Embrace the signs, the whispers, and the subtle nudges from the universe. Know that these are messages from those who have gone before you, reminding you that they are right there, now and always. In every sunrise and sunset, in every whisper of the wind and song of the birds, they speak to you, telling you of their love, their peace, and their eternal presence in your lives. In this understanding, may you find comfort. In this truth, may you find peace. And in the eternal connection of love, may you find that your loved ones are indeed never dead to you—they are simply transformed, ever-present in the sacred dance of life and spirit.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to remember my loved ones in spirit and feel their warm embrace as they draw near to me.
