FIGHT WITH PRAYER AND REMAIN CALM

“The final forming of a person’s character lies in their own hands.” ~Anne Frank

It’s been a tough week in many ways. Not only is the energy off the charts, but it seems as though people have forgotten that we are all in this world together, going through our challenges and problems Together. In my lifetime, there have been 17 US presidential elections. Each time, it seems to get more and more controversial and divisive for our country. A part of me just wants to hibernate for four months until it is over so I don’t have to observe it. Every day, I pray for peace, especially here in the country that I live in. Now, I pray for humans to remember that we are more than this human persona and that underneath it all, we are a part of the Oneness of all that is. My heart hurt tonight when I heard that someone was upset that a person of another faith (not Christian) was asked to offer up a prayer at a political gathering. One person said he couldn’t stand on the stage because he “didn’t know who she was praying to.” Therein lies the problem. Not only is there a division and seeing humans as separate and having a “we versus them” mentality, but now we are dividing and separating out God. God is indivisible. If you are reaching out to the highest being that exists – the Creator – there is only One, no matter what name you call. If we are ever to have unity among our human selves, then we have to recognize this fact and stop judging others for their preference in how to worship the Creator.

Dear Angels, this truly is a tough time in so many ways. What bothers me the most, though, is the division and fighting among each other. A little compassion goes a long way. At the end of the day when all is said and done and we are ready to leave this 3D world behind, our political views, our religious views and our judgments will not matter. What matters is how well we love and care for each other. That is what will be remembered.

Dear Ones, choose your battles. If you find yourself trying to take on the world to make it conform to what you believe and the things you value, you will never achieve peace. Learn to cohabit on your planet. When you observe the division happening, take a step back and breathe in love. Remember that how you do one thing is how you do all other things in life. if your response is one of peace and calm, then you will start to see more of that around you. Look at your reaction to others and to situations, and ask how you can make a change internally to a more peaceful state. The only control you have is your own. There is an old saying of ,”Lead, follow or get out of the way.” This would be a good time to remember that. What is your choice in dealing with the conflict and strife? Sometimes a good leader knows when to remain silent in prayer and wait for the miracle to happen.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.

Today, I promise to stay focused on my own vibration and my responses to the chaos.
