HEAL THE EARTH

"I do not think the measure of a civilization is how tall its buildings of concrete are, but rather how well its people have learned to relate to their environment and fellow man." - Sun Bear, Chippewa
So often we measure success by how tall our buildings are, how advanced our technology has become, and how quickly we can achieve material progress. But in doing so, we may be losing sight of what truly defines a civilization. The real measure of a society’s greatness isn’t found in the skyscrapers that pierce the clouds or the modern marvels that fill our cities. It’s found in how well we relate to each other, and how harmoniously we live with our environment. For what good are the tallest towers if our hearts remain distant from one another? What use is our advancement if it comes at the cost of the very earth that sustains us? Tonight, I sat with three dear friends and we tuned in to what is needed most in our world in this moment. Although we were individually searching and seeking answers, what came forth was the same message: heal the earth.
Dear Angels, we seem to have gotten our priorities of where to focus a little backwards. We as a society have been targeting the people inhabiting the earth with messages of peace and harmony, intending to instill an energy of peace in hearts that seemingly do not want to listen but rather seem determined to play out the deadly game of war. We are listening now to your important message to us that we have to begin at the root – the very planet itself. Heal the planet in order to heal the world.
Dear Ones, the earth is not simply a resource to be exploited; it is your home, a living entity that supports and nourishes you. A society that honors its environment recognizes that you are not separate from nature but an integral part of it. When you learn to live in harmony with the natural world, you create a legacy far greater than any architectural wonder. You leave behind a planet that can continue to support future generations. The wisdom of indigenous cultures teaches that true civilization honors the earth as sacred, tending to it with reverence and gratitude. It is not about taking as much as you can, but about giving back and ensuring that balance is maintained. Listen to the whispers of the wind, the call of the oceans, and the cry of the earth. Tend to each other’s hearts, lifting each other’s spirits, and creating a world where love is the tallest structure you build. As you walk this path, let compassion guide you into the very heart of your planet. Gaia is ready to listen to you and to meet you at the very place where you stand on her back. Feel her heartbeat, listen to her labored breathing. She desperately needs the love that you hold in your heart. Let it flow to her very core and raise your hand in a symbol of commitment to never forget to put her first. Then, watch as this divine mother gathers her children and, through gentle compassion and love, wraps them in her loving embrace.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to honor the earth every day as I tread on her back.
