I Will Rise Up

"The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." -Nelson Mandela

Sometimes in life we come across scenes so horrific that our brain struggles to process it. Today was such a day for me. Watching a burning mountain is something I hope none of you have to experience. I immediately thought of all the wildlife that resides in the mountains and prayed that they all got out safely. This is springtime and birds have been busy building nests and laying eggs. Other animals were probably preparing for the birth of their young. These are the helpless ones who struggle daily to survive and now this threat to their lives has come suddenly with no warning to them. I looked out at the fields so dry and full of cattle and other animals grazing. All it would take is one spark to set that whole area on fire. All I could do was keep sending up a cry to the angels to protect these beautiful creatures who cannot tell us how scared they are and only want to live in peace. That, of course, is just one of the aspects of the devastation. There are so many who have already had to evacuate their homes. I looked out at the houses near the mountain and asked Michael to protect them all from harm. This year alone so many have lost their homes and lives have been tragically rearranged. My darling friend Ruth and her family have struggled since the beginning of the year to put their lives back together again after losing their home to the Boulder fire. My heart hurts at all the devastation and inability to do anything other than ask for Divine intervention.

Dear Angels, we are constantly dealing with devastation and destruction here on our planet earth. Is there any way to make it make sense?

Dear Ones, we hear your cries and your empathetic hearts. We understand your frustration and the feeling of helplessness. It is very hard to find the blessing in the midst of such struggle. Perhaps you can find a way to come to terms with not understanding everything. There can be a power in doing that. The acceptance that things sometimes happen that is out of your control, that is no one’s fault and that cannot be changed can help you to stop looking for someone to blame and wanting to fix things. Not everything has a solution that is immediately evident. When you put your faith in your higher power, you are trusting that everything is working according to the Divine plan. Can you allow yourself to believe that what is transpiring on your earth plane is all seen by the Divine and while it does not necessarily make sense to you on the human level, there is more to what is happening than just the part you do see? Dear Ones, we assure you that you are not alone and that what you are experiencing is not going unnoticed. We love you. Hold onto the love and keep rising up to a higher plane.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to allow myself to focus on the love and not the devastation.
