LIVE DELIBERATELY
"I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees." Henry David Thoreau
Thoreau wrote, “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms...”
Dear Angels, like the poet, I also want to live deliberately and experience all that life has to offer. In the nomadic journey that has been my life for almost four years now, I have found that wherever I find myself there is a feeling of coming home. I think this is mostly mindset. This journey has a purpose to it and it is not simply traveling for the sake of traveling. Each location is divinely chosen for me to be at in any given moment. When I said my sacred yes to releasing all worldly possessions and go to places unknown, there was an element of anxiety as well as one of excitement. The excitement has definitely won out. Change is my way of life and trust is a big part of that.
Dear Ones, the one constant you can count on in living on the Earth is change. Nothing stays still as you are in constant movement. Those who hear the call to move around and be a witness to their higher calling not only adapt to the lifestyle but cannot perceive any other way of life. Their constant movement is likened to a river that has to move to avoid becoming stagnant and without purpose. It is a journey of trust and faith and is not easily understood by those who do not see the purpose of the mission. It goes against the norm of societal thinking that you must have one place to call “home,” and anything else is coloring outside of the lines. We say to you to listen to your calling and then decide if you trust your Creator and guides enough to follow through on what you are hearing. If indeed you are called to a mission, nomadic or otherwise, you will be given the means to carry it out with ease and grace. Live life, Dear Ones. Do what your heart tells you and not what society says has to be the norm. We are with you all the way.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.
Today, I promise to stay the course and always follow my heart.
