Love Arrows
“Keep Going. Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.” ― Roy T. Bennett
Have you ever wanted to give up? I have reached that point in my life in the past. When things look so desolate and there does not seem to be a glimmer of hope, it is difficult to even think that things will turn around. Getting to a low point usually does not happen in a moment. It is a progression. It may begin with your confidence being shaken or someone criticizing or bullying you. The momentum is started and it is hard to stop that downward slide. The time to put the brakes on is when you have that first thought or that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. Self-awareness holds the key to many things, including the confidence to stand up for yourself and let your voice be heard. No one deserves to be made fun of or put down yet it happens every day in schools, on the playground, in the office and at home. How you react will make all the difference in whether you move forward in life with your head held high or you spiral downward into despair.
Dear Angels, life can be so unfair as we learn and grow. There is so much to understand and overcome. How do we remain strong in the face of adversity and unfair treatment?
Dear Ones, the strength you need to stand up for yourself is inside of each of you. Sometimes you dim your own light out of fear or insecurity. Sometimes you listen to other’s criticism and allow the words to penetrate. Yes, words can hurt much deeper than physical wounds. They penetrate deeper and the scars stay longer. We encourage you, Dear Ones, to be your own champion, coach, cheerleader and rise above what is potentially hurtful. It will only affect you to the extent that you allow it. If someone is throwing a hateful word-punch at you, stand tall and do not accept it into your energy. Do not deflect it back to the other person but instead send it to the universe where it will be transmuted. It is not your job to engage someone who is only out to hurt you or others. Your only job is to love. Let the words coming from your heart be only love. Step forward in your Divine authority with confidence and knowledge that those who strike out are coming from a place of insecurity and lack of love in their lives. This does not mean to lay down and let anyone run over you, however. Returning hate with hate is not the answer. Go into your heart and find the unconditional love that is there and let that be what guides your words and actions. Be the peaceful warrior in every situation. It is better to throw love arrows rather than hate stones.
Dear Angels, thank you for your insight. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to stay in my heart and when the tendency is to strike back, I will show only love.
