PEACEFUL SOLUTIONS

a single daisy

“There is no 'way to peace,' there is only 'peace.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

While I stay away from political discussions, this is not about politics but humanity. Today’s event, where a political candidate was shot in an assassination attempt, leaves many in shock and disbelief. It repulses all who believe that violence solves nothing. Violence against other humans is a heinous act that goes against the very essence of humanity and the teachings of spirituality. As followers of God's laws, we are called to love one another, show compassion, and treat each other with kindness and respect. Violence not only causes physical harm but also inflicts emotional and psychological wounds that can last a lifetime. It perpetuates a cycle of pain and suffering, leading to further acts of aggression and retaliation. As believers, it is our duty to stand against violence in all its forms and work towards creating a more peaceful and loving society. Let us strive to be peacemakers, standing up against injustice and fostering a culture of love, respect, and empathy towards all individuals. Together, we can create a world where violence has no place, and where the light of God's love shines brightly in every heart.

Dear Angels, every individual is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. By perpetrating violence against others, we devalue the sanctity of human life and disrespect the divine purpose that each person holds. It is never the answer to any problem. In our world, we face conflict and challenges daily. There is always a nonviolent solution. My prayer is that today’s incident will open our eyes to this fact.

Dear Ones, violence against other humans is never a solution, yet it has prevailed throughout history. It stems from a dark place within individuals, a place devoid of empathy and compassion, where aggression and hatred reign supreme. The belief that all individuals are created in the image of God underscores the inherent dignity and worth of every person, regardless of their race, religion, or background. This divine mandate to treat others with respect and kindness forms the basis of a moral code that condemns violence in all its forms. When this is ignored, chaos will ensue. Those who disregard others as unworthy to exist on your planet are playing god. They are making decisions about who can live or die. By inflicting harm on others, individuals not only transgress against their fellow human beings but also defy the divine will for unity, harmony, and respect among all of God's creation. We encourage you, Dear Ones, to hold yourself to a higher standard. Show only love. If you have an issue with another being, strive to find a way to work through it that does not involve violence. Communicate. Accept each other as you are without judgment. You are not here to criticize, judge, or manage your fellow beings. You are here to bring more love and light into the world. You cannot accomplish this through violence. Search your soul and see if you are willing to adopt a way of life dedicated to nonviolence and offering love, benevolence and compassion to your fellow beings, and especially to your own self.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.

Today, I promise to look for peaceful solutions at all times.
