Happy birthday Elvis! I love when it is Elvis’ birthday because I get to celebrate one of my favorite people on the planet who shares the same birthday – my friend Sherri Otis! Happy birthday my dear friend. Tonight, we went to dinner to celebrate another trip around the sun for her. She is one of the biggest Elvis fans I know, so we share that along with a million other things. I have known Sherri for about three decades and, although I don’t get to see her very often, every time we get together it is like no time has passed from when two giggly girls teamed up to take on the dart world. We were a force to be reckoned with and I attribute that to having fun together along with a bit of stubbornness from each of us. We meet many people in life but when someone comes along that you bond with so closely, it is most definitely a divine connection. As we sat at dinner tonight, the music shifted to 70’s rock and roll and that was all it took. Much like Elvis, Sherri cannot help but move to the groove. It warmed my heart to see my friend so beautifully in her element of joy.
Dear Angels, I wish every human could have a “Sherri” in their lives. She is pure joy that comes with lots of giggles. I believe this is when we are most in our truest spirit being – when we can just let go of inhibitions and express ourselves without concern of how others are seeing us. It is true freedom.
Dear Ones, love does not concern itself with anything other than magnetizing more love. We would say to you that if you would hold in your heart the desire to enjoy your life each moment and send that joy forward into your world, you could shift the energy of the planet. Be as an innocent child who is unaware of anything other than having fun and seeing the awe in each new moment. Hold yourself in such high regard that you know your magnificence and where the Source of your power is coming from. This is the simple recipe for a happy life; honor and love your Creator, love yourself, and love your fellow humans.
