Staying True To Your Higher Calling
"Not how long, but how well you have lived is the main thing.” — Seneca
One of my friends used to say she believed she would live to be 101. That was her number and she fully believed that she would achieve that longevity. She asked me once what my number was. After thinking about it, I really did not want to focus on the longevity but rather on the quality of the years I have left. If I were to leave my body today, I would go with a sense of being fulfilled. I say every day that I love my life – and I mean it. So whatever my number is, it will happen in divine timing and I will be at peace with it. I love being immersed in Source energy and everything I do is with my relationship with God foremost in my mind. I have no interest in the garbage-in-garbage-out spin that so many are caught up in every day. I have no desire to be bottle-fed what to believe and how to act in my life. It’s a freedom that has to be felt and experienced and so many cannot understand this way of life. I am okay with that. I’m even okay with those who criticize and judge me and those who talk about me. The human part of me may feel a heart hurt but as I focus on what is important, it fades into the background. I will keep moving forward in the knowingness that I am walking my path and staying true to my commitment to always listen to my higher self and do that which is in alignment with what I am hearing and feeling inside of me. I am not a people pleaser and never will be. This is me, raw and real, and I may not be everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay. I love you all unconditionally. My prayer for you is that you can love yourself unconditionally as well.
Dear Angels, as I sat in meditation tonight I wondered how Jesus felt when he was on earth, knowing there were so many who were talking behind his back, planning his death, betraying his trust. As a human, it must have been so hard to go through that experience.
Dear Ones, indeed words can cut so deeply and affect your energy in a harsh way – if you allow it. Like all who have been in a human body, Jesus did experience the acts of kindness and the realities of the darker side of humanity from those who were unkind. If you recall, however, he chose to offer forgiveness rather than condemnation or judgment. He only showed love and compassion. Each person must ask themselves how they handle adversity. If you allow it to bring you down in your vibration, then you are the one suffering. If, however, you do as the great Master taught us all and stay focused on love, nothing can interfere with that vibration. Christ never complained about his journey, he only ever showed compassion and wanted everyone to feel loved. He heard the whispers and knew the ones who betrayed him and yet he loved them anyway. In spirit there is only love. You have to decide if you are going to allow yourself to be a victim and respond with anger, sadness, guilt and shame or if you are going to stay true to your higher self and rise above it all. We pray you will choose wisely, Dear Ones.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to be true to my higher self and my knowingness in who I am.
