Stop It!

“Turn every life situation into a positive one.” Rhonda Byrne

I know this sounds ridiculous even to a die-hard optimist like myself. For me to be able to turn every situation into a positive, I have to consider the fact that I am the one responsible for the outcome of situations in my life. I am the only one who chooses how to respond and react to others and to situations. In light of that, then yes it is possible to do this. Do I do it 100 percent of the time? No. It is a great goal, however. There have been incidents recently where I struggled to get past a situation that was very hurtful. I had to honor my human emotions and then realize that I had given my power away. A friend introduced me to a comic scene where Bob Newhart’s character Dr. Hartley would say “stop it!” and as humorous as it was, it was the breakthrough I needed. Just stop giving your power away. Just stop looking at the negative in a situation and look instead for what the lesson is and find the blessing. It really does not have to be overanalyzed when you are ready to move beyond the hurt.

Dear Angels, our human experiences are sometimes challenging as we are in the midst of them. I know it is not impossible to turn negatives into positives and would love some encouraging words.

Dear Ones, life can easily become complicated and when this happens simply return to the basics. Simplicity, patience, compassion and most of all love are the ingredients that will turn your life into the best experience possible. Simply be without all the complications of trying to figure everything out, but rather trusting in Source. Be patient with yourself, with others and with your expectations in any given situation. A heart filled with compassion is a forgiving heart. Forgiveness is a huge lesson that you came here to figure out. It is for you and no one else. If you have the thought that you are “forgiving” someone, examine that thought. Were you judging that one as being wrong or doing wrong? Perhaps they did something that caused you pain but, Dear Ones, it is not your job to decide if they are worthy of forgiveness. We know this is one of your most difficult lessons to grasp. You are not a judge and you did not come to earth to judge anyone. You simply came to learn and to love. Be gentle with yourself in figuring out this lesson. It is one of the most important ones you will learn. Love each other equally, unconditionally and without agenda. Do not withhold that love for any reason. You don’t have to like everything that others do nor is that even possible. The love that is called for is an agape, unconditional love that sees beyond the human actions and situations. Utilize these four ingredients in your life and you will have a clearer vision of your why in this lifetime.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to be the best me possible and allow others to stay in their lane without my judgment.
