The Wealthiest People In The World
“The best things in life aren't things.” Art Buchwald
You can have an overabundance of things, yet feel empty; you can have abundance of wealth yet feel poor; you can have more than enough food, yet feel hungry, you can have everything you seek, but you can feel you have nothing. Life is a paradox and so is everything associated with it. As Plato said, “"I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing." Some of the best things that one goes through in life are the first rays of sunshine touching your face, a warm cup of coffee, a home-cooked meal, a baby’s kiss, a stranger’s smile, your first kiss, a starry night sky, watching an eclipse. Are these actually things? The best things that happen in life are our emotions associated with our experiences. Sometimes, we associate them with things, but the things on their own have no meaning other than what we attribute to them with our emotions. The cherished moment that brings a smile in a person’s face are the best things in life.
Dear Angels, tonight I watched the beautiful lunar eclipse and felt the emotional impact of it. Throughout my life there have been so many experiences that were indescribably beautiful and are etched in my memory. So, my question is why do we place such value on physical things when it is life’s experiences that have the biggest impact on us emotionally and spiritually?
Dear Ones, throughout the history of mankind on your earth planet, wealth and status has been measured by how much can be gathered or achieved. You can search and find out who owns the most things and who has accumulated the most money in your world, and these are looked on by humans as the most powerful people. The accumulation of wealth and power on its own means nothing except for what it is used for. Was it used to benefit others? That is the true and only value of wealth. It is not something that will have meaning for the individual once they leave their human existence. There is no hierarchy in the spiritual realm. We encourage you, Dear Ones, to fill your life with meaningful experiences. Love one another, laugh more often, embrace each other without judgment or criticism. True wealth is contained in your heart and in the way you make others feel.
Dear Angels, thank you. I feel tremendously wealthy as my heart overflows with love. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to place more value on my loved ones than I do on things.
