The Why of Love

“One is loved because one is loved. No reason is needed for loving.” ― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Have you ever had that boyfriend/girlfriend that from the outside looking in seemed to be a mismatch? Well, I have. And interestingly there were times when an “I love you” was met with “why?” Love is not a rational emotion that can be easily explained or analyzed. It's a feeling that comes naturally, from within, and without any logical explanation. Love is a connection between two people that goes beyond words, actions, or reasons. It's an energy that flows between two hearts and brings them closer together. When we love someone, we don't do it because of what they can do for us or what they bring to the table. We love them for who they are, with all their flaws and imperfections. Love is unconditional, and it doesn't require a reason or a motive. We don't need to justify our love for someone or prove it to anyone else. We feel it, and that's enough. Unfortunately, I did not know how to share these words at the time because I didn’t understand love. It took me most of my life to grasp what it means to love or that it has to begin inside before it can ever materialize on the outside.

Dear Angels, while we don't need a reason to love someone, we still try to figure it out and make it make sense. Love is a beautiful emotion that brings warmth, happiness, and meaning to our lives. It's a feeling that we experience in various forms and towards different people, whether it's our family, friends, or romantic partners. However, sometimes we find ourselves questioning why we love someone or searching for reasons to justify our feelings. Many times we are trying to figure out why we don’t feel worthy of being loved and that makes it more difficult to comprehend an act of love or even kindness.

Dear Ones, love is a divine quality that goes beyond the physical and emotional aspects of human experience. It's a transformative force that can heal and elevate the soul, leading to a deeper connection with the Divine. Love is unconditional, all-encompassing, and infinite, and it's a reflection of the divine nature of the universe. By practicing unconditional love, you can move beyond the limitations of your human experience and comprehension of what love is and find that divine connection with the Oneness of all that is. If you are looking for a “reason” to love someone or something, there is only one answer. Love is a divine quality that originates from the Source of all creation and is the ultimate purpose of all creation.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to love unconditionally without questioning why.
