THINK ABOUT IT

a person standing on a rock reflecting

“And love is a force much misunderstood by humans, who put it into a very tiny, narrow little box.” ― Dolores Cannon

I’ve been thinking about Dolores Cannon a lot recently. She was such a pioneer and her wisdom was way beyond the time she lived on Earth. Dolores also said, “People became so involved in their personalities, and their day-to-day living and goings-in and goings-out, that they began to pull away from the collective. Pull away from the source. Pull away from that which is. To become separate from All That Is, and to become individualized. And so as an individual person or being, they chose separation from source. And with the separation from source, then they began to forget to use the thought.” We forget to think! I say so many times to people, “Take a pause, step back and observe. Then and only then can you have a better perspective.” The angels tell us that we tend to complicate everything when it is so simple. One of my favorite episodes from The Andy Griffith Show is where Andy discovers Gomer with a bucket. When questioned, Gomer said that his sergeant had put the bucket on his head and told him to think. Andy asked what he was thinking about with the bucket on his head, to which he replied, “How easy it is to think under there.” While we laugh at the silliness of this, it is quite true that when we block out all distractions, then we can focus.

Dear Angels, wouldn’t it be great if all humans stopped to think before speaking? Communication with each other is so crucial and yet we seem to disregard the importance of speaking with clarity of mind. We used to believe that we only used ten percent of our brain. Now, scientists have shown that we actually have access to and utilize most of our brain. However, it seems we are still buying into the old belief that we are limited.

Dear Ones, your human body is amazing. You have access to everything you need in life to succeed and to thrive. Holding a limiting belief creates doubts and disempowers you. When you release the belief that you cannot do something, your brain will show you the way to accomplish it. It is like sending your brain out on an assignment to find a solution to a problem. It will begin searching through your experiences and knowledge that is stored there. Once there is something that is important for you to know or “remember,” this becomes a priority and the brain will keep searching for it. You can use this to your advantage by pausing in your conversation and ask what words would be best to use when you are communicating with someone. Your brain works together with your spiritual gifts, especially your intuition. So, we encourage you to slow down and think as you interact with each other. Add in some empathy and compassion and you have a great recipe for a more peaceful, fulfilling life on Earth.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.

Today, I promise to be more thoughtful in conversations with others.
