THIS LITTLE LIGHT OF MINE
“Focus on do-ing, not don’t-ing.” ~ Unknown
I love this quote! I think if we listen to this sage advice, the world would be a different place. I remember when my daughter was young, the most frustrating part of parenting was telling her “no“ or “don’t.” It was much more fun and rewarding to encourage her to do things and expand her awareness and growth. Those “don’ts,” however, become very important later in life. Things like “don’t hurt others” or “don’t do things that will harm yourself.” Just as important are the “do’s” of life. “Do show compassion, empathy, and respect to yourself and others.” I know that I was taught this and I try to instill in in any teaching that I do. So where did it get skewed? As I look at what happens in our country, the USA, we seem to throw out all that lesson every four years when it is election time. As a peace ambassador, I cringe when I witness the bullying, the name-calling and the whole process of what is taking place in our country. While it is important for us to understand the issues and stances, can’t we do it with dignity and grace?
Dear Angels, while these are very trying times for us here on Earth, it is imperative that we remember that a larger battle is at play. We have held onto the promise and hope that light will win out over darkness. I do believe this, and I know that other lightworkers do as well. As I listen to others, however, I hear a weariness among some. Many are choosing to leave this planet at this time. We could use some encouraging words.
Dear Ones, there is a huge shift that involves redefining both your countries and the world. The wars that are taking place are showing you a microcosm of the attacks those who carry the light of God and the message of love. It is the natural tendency of the faithful to be silent, and not “fight back.” We say to you, Dear Ones, that your voices will not be silenced. Stand in your Divine authenticity. Help each other to remain faithful and hopeful as you lift each other in love. Hold on to the promise that light is more powerful than the dark and that there is no greater power than love. Remember the promise made through the Psalmist, "The Lord will light my candle so, that it shall shine full bright: The Lord my God will also make my darkness to be light."
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste, y’all.
Today, I promise to keep shining full on!
