WALK BESIDE ME

“Don’t walk in front of me… I may not follow

Don’t walk behind me… I may not lead

Walk beside me… just be my friend”

― Albert Camus

Sometimes in life you just need a friend. Not a teacher, a mentor, or business partner. Just a friend. That one person that you can count on to pick up the phone or respond to a message immediately. Someone who will just sit with you while you cry and join in with you when you belly-laugh. I have been very fortunate in this lifetime to have such people in my life and for that I am very grateful. As a mentor and coach, this is the number one thing I hear about that is lacking in the lives of my clients. When I look back at my own childhood, making friends was at the top of the list of things that were important. Those close friendships got you through rough times at home, poor grades and heartbreak from your first love. I drove by my high school recently and could still feel the presence of the friendships I made there, even though I have lost touch with so many. It made me take a good look at who my friends are now and who shows up at the crucial times when they are needed.

Dear Angels, life has a beautiful way of gifting us friendships. They’re not just relationships that fill our days; they are connections that reach into our hearts, often offering the support we didn’t even know we needed. When life gets hard, friends step in like beacons, lighting up our dark moments with warmth, empathy, and strength. We lean on each other not out of weakness but because we’re meant to be connected, to share burdens, and to remind each other that none of us are ever truly alone.

Dear Ones, there are no coincidences or accidental occurrences in life when it comes to the people you surround yourself with. You are drawn to those who are a part of your spiritual nucleus. It is a soul connection. It’s the kind of bond that withstands storms, endures hardships, and finds its way back even when time or distance separates you. Friends are there not just to laugh at life’s light moments, but to hold your hand in life’s heaviest ones. They are the people who show up when you don’t know how to keep going, who remind you of your worth when you can’t see it yourself, and who love you fiercely without needing you to be perfect. During life’s toughest moments, a friend’s presence is a divine reminder of love and grace. True friends become mirrors reflecting your own resilience back at you. They see what you cannot in yourself—strength, courage, and worth—and they keep showing it to you until you believe it. Whether it’s the friend who calls late at night, the one who shows up at your door unannounced, or the one who prays quietly for you from afar, every gesture carries the essence of angelic love. Friendship is a two-way street, however, a gift you also give back. When you support your friends, you are part of something sacred, becoming a source of light in their lives just as they have been in yours. The moments of vulnerability and shared struggle bond you in ways that only become stronger as time goes on. Friendships are the ties that remind you what it means to truly be held. We encourage you to cherish these bonds and keep your hearts open to the beauty of friendship, knowing that no matter what you face, there is always someone by your side, ready to walk through the storm with you. If you have closed your heart to accepting the love of a friend, we invite you to open it back up. You do not have to go through your life experience alone and your soul family needs to have your energy just as much as you need theirs. Reach out to someone today with a kind word, whether it is an established friendship or one that is divinely ordained to come forward in divine time.

Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.

Today, I promise to cherish every friendship in my life and nurture it with love.
