ZAGNUT FROM HEAVEN
“No one would ever purposely choose a Zagnut” Bob Kling
I have been reeling this week with all that is happening in my family. Growing up, my sister Billie was my rock. She was the coolest older sister anyone could have. In adulthood, she has experienced so much loss and hardship, more than one person should ever endure. Yesterday she lost her husband eleven days after the passing of her youngest child. Ritu Ghatourey said, “A strong woman is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. Her tears flow as abundantly as her laughter. A strong woman is both soft and powerful, she is both practical and spiritual. A strong woman in her essence is a gift to the world.” My sister is the strongest woman I know but right now her tears are flowing because she loves with all her being and her heart is breaking. We were raised by a strong woman. Our mother did the best she could raising her thirteen children. She didn’t have many indulgencies as everything was focused on providing for us. She did, however, have a weakness for a certain candy bar – Zagnut. She would send me to the little neighborhood store occasionally to get one for her. I was thinking of her today, wondering about the reunion that had just taken place in the spirit realm with her grandson and his father. At the checkout counter, I looked down at the items on the shelf and saw something I had not seen in decades – a Zagnut. I smiled as I picked it up and added it to my items. You know, there are some things that happen that are not coincidences but rather confirmations and signs from our loved ones.
Dear Angels, sometimes after a rainstorm, a rainbow appears. I feel like I got my rainbow today.
Dear Ones, strength isn't always about pushing through or enduring every hardship alone. Sometimes, true strength lies in opening your heart to guidance and signs from those who love you, even those who are no longer physically present. When life feels heavy or uncertain, take a quiet moment to listen to the whispers from beyond. Signs and messages often arrive just when you need them—a song that reminds you of someone, a gentle breeze, or even a favorite food. These are reminders from loved ones, telling you that you’re never truly alone. Trust in these sacred messages as affirmations of love and support, reminding you that resilience doesn't mean walking alone but allowing yourself to be held and uplifted. Embrace these gifts, and let them fuel your strength to move forward. Each step becomes lighter when guided by love that transcends time and space.
Dear Angels, thank you. I love you. Namaste y’all.
Today, I promise to pay more attention to signs sent from loved ones.
