ZEN AND JOY

Tonight brings an ending to the third year that I have sat with the angels to receive their teaching and guidance. It feels like I have been in “angel school.” I know there are people who do not believe in angels or even in God. But for me, I can only speak of my own experience with them as they have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some people have had vivid encounters with these amazing messengers while others trust and believe in their existence without a personal encounter. I love this passage from the scriptures: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Many times throughout my life, I have had encounters with angels. Some of these were at a very crucial moment as they intervened in life-threatening situations or in moments of intense fear. This coming year I will be sharing some of those experiences and teaching more about the angels by doing an “Angel Appreciation Day” each month. I am very happy to follow their guidance in sharing this.
Dear Angels, thank you for being present for us as we traverse this earthly path. I think of my experiences driving throughout the country and how lost I would be without my GPS telling me the turns to take. You are our GPS as we go through our experiences. Sometimes we ignore your voice giving us the directions which would keep us on our path and we find ourselves in a place other than where we desired to be. However, these are all lessons that we are learning as we go. None of us has all the answers. We are doing the best we can in any given moment. I prefer to follow the guidance at this point in my life as my experiences have taught me to listen for that still small voice so my feet will have a smoother surface to traverse.
Dear Ones, as you draw closer to us we are able to assist you in your self-awareness of the divine spirit within you. We are not saviors or gods and were created just as you were with a divine purpose. We serve the Creator by ministering to you. The messages we bring forth are for you to learn from and are only for your best and highest good. All of you have the ability to hear our guidance and we encourage you to open up to attuning this gift because for any guidance system to work, you must tune into it. Dear Ones, let this be the year that you live each moment in joy. When your heart is filled with the joy and peace that walking in the light of God brings, you will find more thirst for that joy in your life. Allow the freedom that comes from tuning into your guidance and knowing that you are living your purpose. As you do so, your Zen and joy will become contagious and create a ripple throughout the collective that will lead to peace on your planet. We invite you to make this coming year the best one of your lifetime through a joyful existence. The psalmist invites you to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
